Datalogger memory option

Do you want to store the data in your 12ch analog input module? What memory size do you target?
We offer FRAM MSP430 microcontroller up to 256kByte, which makes storing your logged data very effective. Flash based MSP430 devices have an internal non-voltaile memory of up to 512kByte. If this is not enough you can always connect a serial flash to the microcontroller.

Please provide more info about the entire system to provide best part proposals.

We want to design datalogger using external Fram device that can be store the 4 byte timestamp and 12 ch ieee754 4 byte floating value.

that can stored the data up to 1 year duration.

how many data points do you expect in this 1year duration, i.e. how many bytes do you need?

Hi lars,

for timestamp is 4 byte and 12ch analog input eah is 4 byte (4x12=48 byte). the inteval can set 1 sec until 10 minute sampling rate.
