E2E Earning points and rewards

Thanks for this great community support - it has really helped us with our design process and choose TI over other suppliers !

Qu: The TE community and reward system - is there any plan to give rewards (e.g. prizes) for earned points ? This may be a good incentive for current and future members !!!

  • This has been done in the past, have a look at the following:

    Dear Bill,
    Thanks for your reply.

I saw already what you sent. It speaks about "recognition" which I agree is very important. I just think you might attract more people to this wonderful service provided by TI (and thus more sales ) if you provide a more substantial reward system (e.g. maybe a gift voucher ?)

    Best regards

    Dear Bill,

Thank you for passing on my feedback.

I just noticed something that you also might want to pass on. When I set a thread to resolved so I was sent a "free shipping coupon" for the TI shop. I don't know if this has always been the case or was a reaction to my input but I have another suggestion. This might not be the best idea for those engineers who work for companies and who are not free lancing as the reward will really go to the company and not directly to the engineer ! It might be more motivating if the engineer is rewarded lets say with a voucher to amazon or something similar ? Just a suggestion !

    Best regards

    Dear Bill,

Thank you so much - could you get back to me with their response ?

    Best regards

    Any updates ?
  • In reply to Shmuel Davis:

Unfortunately at this time, TI is going to stick with the Rewards & Recognition program that's already in place. As reviews of the process occur, alternatives will be considered. Thanks for your feedback.
