Hi,

I flash the firmware to emmc by DFU, the emmc is empty, no partition;

so I can not use the DFU tools, how operat the emmc partition,

i look the URL : processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Template:GLSDK_DFU

but i don't know emmc partition,

how operat the emmc partition on the uboot,

i don't partition on the rootfs.

Can you just tell which SDK you use and is it a TI-EVM or a custom board?

my problem is: how partitioin on uboot stage.

use the DFU tool go wrong:

i look the document "DRA7xx GLSDK Software Developers Guide" ,i find the dispose partition only

but our exploitation are not sd card , we think partition on the uboot , do you have idea?

From u-boot prompt

==> env default -a

==> setenv dfu_alt_info ${dfu_alt_info_emmc}

==> dfu 0 mmc 1

U-boot has pre-defined environement variable with paritition information for mmc/emmc/qspi.

Please try the above sequeunce.

1. mmc part

2. setenv dfu_alt_info dfu_alt_info_emmc

3. dfu 0 mmc 1

Because the emmc are no partitions, how to do partition on uboot?

What kind of partition you would like to do on eMMC ? (FAT/EXT fs)

You can use "ums" comman in u-boot, which expose the eMMC as usb disk to ubuntu PC, you can format through ubuntu PC as well. Did you checked the links provided in above thread.

I want to through window PC, which expose the eMMC as usb disk to window PC? how to do?

if there any other methods except the "ums"?

Yes, you connect J6 (as mass storage device) to windows PC as well. You can partition the disk and transfers the files as you like.
