DRA7x CPSW driver - FQTSS Support (IEEE 802.1Qav)

Hello,

In Linux forum, I posted for support of FQTSS implementation in CPSW driver. (Linux forum - post : https://e2e.ti.com/support/embedded/linux/f/354/p/624662/2304505#2304505 )

Based on the response, it seems that P802.1Qav is not supported in the DRA7x CPSW driver and directed to your forum for additional details.

I want to know, is there any patch / update available for CPSW driver to achieve FQTSS (IEEE 802.1Qav).

If not, is there any plan in near future to add FQTSS (IEEE 802.1Qav) feature in CPSW Driver from TI.

The current driver in the TI SDK releases does not support traffic shaping - there have been patches that add support for traffic shaping that were merged against later kernel version.
Best reference would be to look at the latest kernel tree from kernel.org , plans to include this in the SDK are not finalized

Hello Sriram,

Thanks for your response.

We downloaded the latest kernel(4.13.3) from kernel.org and checked the CPSW driver in latest kernel.
We could not able to see any changes specific to Traffic Shaping algorithm or Qav support features.

Can you kindly share the patch details which we may have to include in our GLSDK 7.03.

It is hard to pin point to any one patch - can you review patches added by Ivan in this regard

you can get the list of patches from Ivan, as follows
# git log --oneline --author="Ivan" drivers/net/ethernet/ti

Specifically patches starting from commit "e05107e" - "net: ethernet: ti: cpsw : add multi queue support"
