i was execute the example code of ipc folder.i think it was working but i dont know what is the data ,where we have to change the data,how to check the its working correctly?

Hi kalaiventhan,

which example you run? Note that all examples under "<VisionSDK_Install_dir>\ti_components\os_tools\ipc_3_43_03_05\examples" has readme.txt with details about the example. Also the examples call Log_print0() to print info about it's execution, you should be able to see the output with CCS using ROV.

Hi Kalaiventhan,

For "starterware/examples/ipc_multicore_mbx" example you will get output prints at terminal program (eg. TeraTerm). You need to load images on all the cores before running the example.
You can also refer to 'StarterWare_UserGuide.pdf' under "starterware/docs".

The printed payload is received from the other core.
In the example each core sends interrupt (along with payload) to other cores and after that prints the payload received from the other cores to UART.

thanks,any external data can we provide different data to different processor,it is possible .

Payload is send as third argument of 'IpcLib_interruptSendEvent()' function call. Please checkout the you can modify the example to send different payload.

Hi kalaiventhan,

the example mentioned by Ankur (ipc_multicore_mbx) constructs the payload like this: ((selfProcId) << 16U | 0x80000000U | k) , where k is number incremented on each iteration.
Please check the header comment in starterware_01_07_01_20/include/ipclib/ipclib_interrupt.h for an explanation of IpcLib send/receive mechanism. Also you can check starterware_01_07_01_20/docs/StarterWare_API_Reference.chm for description of IpcLib_interruptSendEvent() and other functions. Then you can try to modify the example to send different things and get familiar how it works.

Can you make sure you got the xdas.h in <install path>\ti_components\algorithms_codecs\framework_components_3_40_02_07\fctools\packages\ti\xdais\xdas.h

How are you compiling, are you doing a clean build with

gmake -s -j depend

first?

i did that commad gmake -s -j depend ..but i have that error.i try to clean also some bsb board error

It looks like the build is failing at a sub-process. Can you open up that batch file <install path>\vision_sdk\binaries\tda2xx_evm_bios_all\maketemp_configuro_cmd_arp32_1.bat and make sure all the folders/files it's referencing to are present for it to process?

i was check , i think all file are there.yesterday i was build gmake -s -j depend_ndk_fatfs after that its not build and i have error

What have you modified since your last successful build? It's a sub-process build failure so it must be not liking somethings you have removed/tweaked I can't tell for the error log.

I would just start from scratch. Clean reinstall Vision SDK and apply your custom usecase patches (they can't be that many anyway). Let us know if that works out for you.
