Observing white patches and noise during the HDMI capture

  Hi,

I am currently working on porting certain algorithms in Vayu Vision - TDA2x Board with vision sdk 2.7 version.

I am trying to feed the video stream as input to the EVM through a DVD player.

When I directly stream the video from DVD to the HDMI display of TV, the video looks fine without any noises(Refer Image : Direct_DVD_to_TV.jpeg).

But when I feed the same input to the hardware(TDA2x), process it and finally display it on the TV, I could able to observe some white patches along with some noise(refer Image : DVD_to_TDA2x_to_TV.jpeg).

These patches are highly impacting the performance of the algorithm.

Is there any way to remove those patches so that the input to the algorithm can be given without  any noise.

Thanks in advance.
