TDA3: Setting PHA and POL in QSPI

Hi,

TDA3 data sheet is defined PHA and POL in QSPI. However there are no register to set them in TRM.

Which registers should I set them?

Hi, kenshow,

The register in TRM is QSPI_SPI_DC_REG. The bitfield names are CSPx and CKPx. They are not named PHA and POL.

Just a little clarification;

CKPHx = clock phase

CKPx = clock polarity

where x is chip-select number

You can also set the Chip Select polarity and Data Delay for chip select x.

Hi Stan,

Thanks for your reply. However, I am little bit confused them.
I understood POL is CKP.
Is PHA is CKPH?
IPHA in DM is written on the CS signal. However, it relates clock phase, and means definition of the qspi_mode. is this correct?

You are correct. I will file a ticket to DM support so they can fix it (move PHA=0/1 to CLK).
