TDA2HG: Frequency rate of i814 on TDA2x

Dear Experts,

I know we have a workaround for this in place. Nevertheless would it be possible to comment on the frequency rate of i814?

Of course it would be possible to do the reading twice and check frequency rate of different value between both readings, but maybe we have already done this analysis.

In practice we have found the issue to be infrequent but we have not analyzed/characterized this completely. Thus we still recommend that the workaround be implemented.

As an example for general use in our lab we don't see the issue manifest when reading the info using a GEL file without the workaround.

Thanks for the feedback but it seems that in the end we need the occurrence rate for this. The reason behind this is that we have already units in the field without the workaround and we would like to create an risk assessment. Can you please provide an estimate date when we could have this information ?

Can you tell us what you're using the Temp sensor for?

And which registers does SW read, how often? Is it read periodically? Or only in reaction to a thermal alert/interrupt being asserted? What actions are taken in SW depending on the value of the sensors?
