Linux/TDA2EVM5777: running opencv on A15 without visionsdk

Hi,

I am trying to crosscomplie opencv on A15 without visionsdk board , i have few queries on this.

1.can I run opencv on A15 without vision sdk.

2.I have followed this document for cross compliation on A15 "OpenCV_cross_compile_Steps_for_A15_Linux.pdf" but i could not find "Go to the tag ticv3.1_00.04.02.00" tag of opencv and cmake file "<opencv_path>/platforms/generic/ named ‘arm-gnueabi.toolchain_vsdk.cmake’". i couldnot fine this in the following path

3. where can i find the following as well

i. VXLIB
ii. DSP CGT 8.1.0

Hi Swati,
Sorry for late reply

Please run below clone commands
Clone "tiopencv" from below repo

git clone bitbucket.itg.ti.com/.../tiopencv.git

and then
cd tiopencv
git checkout origin/tiopencvrelease_3.1

DSP tool:
software-dl.ti.com/.../download.htm

VXLIB:
Part of vision sdk release package & present in "ti_components/algorthims" folder

Hi Swati,

can you try to add "https://" before "bitbucket.itg.ti.com/scm/opencv/tiopencv.git".
(It seems that the forum engine hide it and show it as hyperlink in the Surya's post).

Hi Swati,

it looks like some problem with the network connectivity. Can you check your proxy settings and if needed configure them as described here:
processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Git

Also are you able to access the OpenCV repo in bitbucket from your browser:

bitbucket.itg.ti.com/.../browse

you can select branch there and download it (from "..." button next to the branch name), but in that case you will have only the source tree without git history.

Hi Swati,

can you click on the link instead of coping it, the forum engine seems to shorten the links and replaces some part of them with "...".

bitbucket.itg.ti.com/.../browse

we met the same issue and cannot access bitbucket.itg.ti.com/scm/opencv/tiopencv.git.

Is this link for TI internal only ?
