TDA2EG: IBIS model

Hi all,

I'm trying to simulate the IBIS model of the TDA2Ex but I'm having trouble when I want to use external power for a Power Integrity simulation.

In theory the version of the IBIS model is v 5.0 so it is able to perform a power aware simulation but apparently it doesn't have the necessary information to be used to. There is no section for "Composite Currents", "ISSO PU" and "ISSO PD".

Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

Javier,

The latest TDA2Ex models are here:

www.ti.com/.../sprm685

These models are intended to allow signal integrity simulations for the digital IOs on the SoC - not for power integrity modeling.

For recommendations/guidelines on Power Distribution Network design targets refer to the device Data Manual section 8.2 Power Optimizations.
