Compiler/TDA2EVM5777: On CPU Reset TDA2EX->A15 processor has not reset properly

Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler

Hi,

We had compiled the timer_app example of PDK :packages\ti\csl\example\timer.Then flash into TDA2EX->A15 it has work fine,but i have done the CPU Reset and Run again .Iit won't go to "main" function or Entry.

Please suggest After Reset it will go Entry or main function.

Hi Kiran,

After doing reset you need to load the application again and then run it. Then it will run to main if you have the option "Run to main" enabled in CCS configuration or be at the entry point.

Hi,
But in my application ,I has required to go reset location .Then how to set reset Location when I press the CPU Reset Button?

Hi Kiran,

CPU reset button only resets the CPU. After pressing CPU reset button you should either reload the program or restart.
However in case you want to set reset location you can configure Tools -> Debugger Options -> Auto Run and Launch Options.
In that you can choose Run to Symbol on a reset.
