Why do you change the waitAck mode from TRUE to FALSE? This is not supported for System_ipcMsgQSendMsg.

waitAck = TRUE to assure synchronous commands from application or from any other links

while calling the link control API are you disbaling the ACK? if yes, then this code asserts
