Hi,

I have tried to use the Clock Tree Tool to visualize all the clock domains.
When I try to configure the Peripheral PLL (DPLL_PER in the tool) I do not get the 192MHz out of the PLL with the values we use in our design:

N=23
M=960
M2=5

This should result in:
CLKDCOLDO=960MHz
CLKOUT M2=192MHz

Because the AM3359 GEL File also uses this parameters I think there is a problem in the tool.
Do I miss a parameter in the tool?

Hi,

I encountered exactly the same problem, too. As all peripherials like I2C, SPI and UARTs are behaving correctly with the "wrong" PER PLL settings I expect the tool to simple be buggy (wouldn't be the first bug in tools provided by TI :-().

Is this issue already address to the people that wrote this program?

I'm attaching an updated version of the tool to this thread. Let me know if you have any feedback.

Once the updates are pushed out to the web I'll be removing the engineering version from this post and users should get the latest from http://www.ti.com/tool/clocktreetool.

at least the DPLL_PER visualization seems now to be working. Also the tool does not hang anymore when it is started.

The newest Clock Tree Tool V4.0.0.0 works as expected.
