XDS100v3 which has the "larger" 20 pins JTAG connector with a passive adaptor necessary to fit the beaglebone connector which is smaller, will work anyway?

May be I'm wrong but I'm a bit confused looking at this documentation: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/JTAG_Connectors#ARM_20-pin_Header_Information
Focusing on chapter "JTAG connectors cross reference" i see the adaptor TMDSADPEMU-20T3 . To me it's not clear if it's a 1 to 1 mapping by different connectors or it adds any extra functionality.

Is the following JTAG Emulator compatible with Beaglebone Black verC
TMDSEMU100V2U-ARM:
XDS100v2 JTAG Emulator (20pin & 10pin ARM connectors)
I would also like to know the difference between the following Emulators. Are both of them compatible with Beaglebone Black
TMDSEMU100V2U-ARM:
XDS100v2 JTAG Emulator (20pin & 10pin ARM connectors)
TMDSEMU100V2U-20T:
XDS100v2 JTAG Emulator (20-pin compact TI connector)
I also need information whether both of them will work with Code composer studio free license.

This is the one that's compatible with BBB. It should work with no problems with CCS.
No, the ARM header pinout is different. TMDSEMU100v2U-20T is the correct emulator. See this wiki: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/JTAG_Connectors
BBB uses CTI-20 pinout.
Hi,
I'm SORRY but I have a last Question for the Jtag-Emulator....
Is the IAR I-jet compatible with the BBB ??
Thanks for answer.
Best regards.
IAR has an ADA-MIPI20-cTI20 adapter that's needed to interface the IAR I-jet to BBB. I don't know if this is included or sold separately.
