Hardware Random Number Generator on AM335x

According to the Linux Cryptography User's Guide, I should be able to configure the Hardware Random Number Generator (HWRNG) as a character device in my kernel.  However, I don't have that option.  Furthermore, I don't see the OMAP4 HWRNG option.  I'm using kernel 3.8.13-bone26.

Is there a patch that I can apply to enable this?

I've other posts on these forums requesting additional information for the crypto / HWRNG specs.  I'm submitting patches to OpenSSL to increase the availability of the algorithms for the linux-crypto dev driver.  Can I receive access to these documents to help improve the open source tools?

Thanks,

Josh
