Hi, I am looking for a package which will give me NTFS write support. I know there is NTFS-3G from Tuxera but this is a commercial package. I am looking for some in open-source.
Does anyone have any tips?

Hi,
As far as I understand, ntfs-3g is the free open-source community edition and Tuxera NTFS is the proprietary version.
The latest stable package of ntfs-3g is available for download from here: http://www.tuxera.com/community/ntfs-3g-download/

Hello,
Thx for your answer. Do you know if fuse is still needed ,as with linux 2.6, on the Sitara 3.2 kernel?
I have check this forum and found a guideline how to build but this is linux 2.6 based.
Only need to adapt then to the Sitara build environment.
Regards
Marcel
Hi Marcel,
Can you forward post the link where youv found how to build ntfs support for kernel 2.6. Any help would be deeply appreciated. Also even I am confused whether fuse package is required along with the ntfs-3g support.
Thanks and regards,
Rohit
