Business and customer wise, we are using RHEL and Fedora (64 bit). I got a system running on 32 bit Ubuntu on an old PC but that is not our business model. Any chance TI is going to move along and create SDK's that will run on those platforms without severe hassle? If so, when. This is preventing wide spread adoption here.

If you are talking about AM335X the new SDK has just been released a few weeks ago. I will forward this to the Linux team but cannot say if/when it will be done.

While still focused on Ubuntu as that's what we support, it might provide some insights into the issues with other distros. I'm sorry, we just don't have the resources to cover more than one distro.

The ia32-libs package is the big one to get the installer to go.

We have looked at upgrading our installer, but there are other important packages like the toolchain that are still 32-bit, so you would need some additional packages anyway.

I have seen all the pages and have gotten tools to run on Ubuntu. We have "influential" people that like RHEL because of it's enterprise look and stability. We are under pressure to use it.

Maybe I can make the time to help make support for it if I can get a little side help - then offer it. Ideas?
