Can McASP of AM335x support PCM short frame (for modem voice) by TDM data format?

Should I need to configure as  "Burst Transfer Mode" to emulate PCM short frame data?

I don't think orginial TDM mode can emulate PCM frame, because there are at least 2-channel data in TDM mode.
