Any examples of using UART IER2 register in AM335x

In TI StarterWare there are no examples of using UART_IER2_EN_TXFIFO_EMPTY. Can someone provide one? The SPRUH73K document has no details either, just the register itself.

Specifically, what will the UART_IIR[5:0] read when the TX_FIFO_EMPTY interrupt occurs (in UART FIFO mode).
