Running EVM AM335x without Daughter Board BUT with LCD board

well...I read it, but it is not answer to my question. I want to build my own device with AM335x or just using the BeagleBone (I hope that it is possible), so I do not need the CPLD. When I placed these resistors -> the baseboard could booting -> but LCD boad does not work. My question is why. I need use more GPIO pins and whole daughter board is unimportant to me.

You will need to modify the Linux source for this to work. The SDK reads data from an on-board EEPROM and determines which EVM is being used. Then if it's the GP EVM it reads the CPLD profile from the daughterboard and configures pinmux accordingly. You will have to skip these steps and directly configure pinmux, etc.

Thanks, and could you tell me, where could I find some information how to modify Linux for my board (where to define that I dont want to use config EEPROM, where to set right pinmux)? I think that this informations are the most important for end users - not development kit where everything works but modification or different using of these EVM is hard. Because in a industry we cannot use EVM boards, we have to use our boards and before we will design own PCB, we want to know HOW and if it will work. Yeah, I found some videos on TI page about board porting, but everything was done on EVM kits. Linux sources are pretty big, so I appreciated if you could tell me where I have to looking for.
