audio codec enable

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65950, OMAP3530

Hi,
I am working on beagleboard C4 (c64x+) using CCSv5.x and I'm trying to enable the audio codec TPS65950.
Can anyone tell me or show an example how to do this? I haven't found any libraries or programs with this codec initialization.

Hi Ka,

Moving post to Sitara for the AM37x support to possible provide the code needed to interface with the TPS65950 codec.

There might be software examples from the Beagle Board example that enable the use of the codec and will assist you in handling the output.

You might want to grab a Linux kernel source and look at sound/soc/codecs/twl4030.c

Thank you for answers, I looked at this, but I don't know now how to use it with the libraries for c64x+ (i2c, gpio).

Where could I find any CCS example projects with using this codec or for McBSP, I2C on the Beagle Board with OMAP3530?
