Hello Sarathi,

There are no official remote package repositories for am437x which can be used by opkg. You should install the software which you need locally.

Connect the EVM to your network with Internet access then run # ifup eth0. The DHCP will give it an IP address, Subnet Mask, GW address and DNS address if the DHCP is not provided by the network you will need to assign the network configuration parameters manually by # ifconfig. If you are behind a proxy you will need to enter the proxy settings too. After these configurations you should be able to access the Internet.

hi...

i have created Qt application, connected am4379 as an external kit. program build & debug is done. but i get the error as

"cannot execute the the binary file"

application finished with exit code 126

Hello Sarathi,

You get this error because of not cross-compiled application. My advice would be to start with the "Hands on with QT" steps. If you encounter difficulties with the steps, please create a new thread for your problem with mentioning the SDK details.
