All I ask about is how to build Linux SDK for am335x-evmsk. I can't find any instructions at http://processors.wiki.ti.com/ . I see a guide how to build the SDK if the installer downloaded, but I can't download this huge archive and downloaded only the sources. Can you explain how to build them or I should go to the wireless forum?

You need to set your environment as follows:
x0155517@mms:~/ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-01.00.00.00$ export ARCH=arm
x0155517@mms:~/ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-01.00.00.00$ export CROSS_COMPILE=arm-linux-gnueabihf-
x0155517@mms:~/ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-01.00.00.00$ export PATH=$PATH:/home/x0155517/ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-01.00.00.00/linux-devkit/sysroots/i686-arago-linux/usr/bin/

Then from the SDK directory ~/ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-01.00.00.00/ you can:
1. execute
x0155517@mms:~/ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-01.00.00.00$ make all
Which will build all sdk sources: u-boot, kernel, extra-drivers

2. run
x0155517@mms:~/ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-01.00.00.00$ make wireless -> to build wireless drivers in extra-drivers/
x0155517@mms:~/ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-01.00.00.00$ make cryptodev -> to build the crypto sources in extra-drivers/
x0155517@mms:~/ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-01.00.00.00$ make sgx-modules -> to build the sgx sources in extra-drivers/

You can refer to ~/ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-01.00.00.00/Makefile for more details.

Thank you for your support, but clarify the following:

I have downloaded the archive am335x-evm-sdk-src-01.00.00.00.tar.gz, unpacked it:
extra-drivers:
cryptodev-module-1.6 sgx-modules-5.01.01.02 ti-compat-wireless-wl18xx-R8.5

linux-3.14.26-g2489c02
u-boot-2014.07-g7e537bf

I don't see any Makefiles in root directories, only in respective ones. Probably I should get some scripts available in the full SDK package? I use the compiler available for installation in Ubuntu. What should I do next?

Yes you need to install the full SDK: ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-01.00.00.00-Linux-x86-Install.bin in order to use the steps above (I recommend this).  

Otherwise, you should download the Linaro toolchain provided here: http://software-dl.ti.com/sitara_linux/esd/processor-sdk/PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-AM335X/latest/index_FDS.html 

Export the ARCH, PATH & CROSS_COMPILE variables, cd to each of the extra-drivers directories & use make to build the sources.

I would love to download the full SDK but I use a 3G connection and 2 Gigs to download is too much.

So, I want to compile the kernel: downloaded the Linaro GCC, now I should set the config file. There is not any of defconfig files assosiated with am335x platform.
am335x-evm-sdk-src-01.00.00.00/board-support/linux-3.14.26-g2489c02$ find | grep defconfig | grep am33
am335x-evm-sdk-src-01.00.00.00/board-support/linux-3.14.26-g2489c02$
so there is nothing

Hi Maxim,

Find the defconfig attached. Just rename it to singlecore-omap2plus_defconfig after you download it.

Does your message mean that a regular omap2plus_defconfig existing in the kernel also works?

No, latest SDK, needs to be built with the singlecore-omap2plus_defconfig (there are some differences between the two files). If you don't have rules to build singlecore-omap2plus_defconfig you can copy its content & paste it in omap2plus_defconfig and build your kernel.

I have downloaded the full sdk, ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-01.00.00.00-Linux-x86-Install.bin, however, there is no further process to install the sdk after typing "./ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-01.00.00.00-Linux-x86-Install.bin" in the terminal. The OS of my host is Ubantu 14.04 TLS. I tried TI Android full which is executable. Apparently, there is something wrong. Can you give me a direction? Thanks.
