I'm collecting information to define the budget for a new project.
We are using AM3359 cpus, and the target is extend the capabilities of our devices with the new AM57x cpu.
The idea is design a device that can run at the same time
- a (full flavored) linux on an high performance core, with user applications (HMIs, loggers, Industry 4.0 stuff)
- embedded control applications (data processing, industrial control algorithms, hard realtime code) in other cores
- industrial ethernet protocols (ethercat, sercos, ...) on familiar and reliable PRUs.
Is that possibile?
How can I manage and debug the coexistence of Linux and TI-RTOS running on the target?
AM572x Evaluation Module is the right pick to evaluate these features, or should I wait for something more targeted for industrial applications?
