Creating a MLO file for a custom hardware

MLO is part of U-boot, which is included in the Processor SDK: software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html MLO executes from the internal processor SRAM, doing basic initialization, configuration of the DDR interface and loading main part of U-boot in DDR.

On your other question, the process is described here: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Sitara_Linux_Program_the_eMMC_on_Beaglebone_Black Of course you can also boot from SD card, and then partition and write the Linux files to the eMMC like an ordinary disk.

thanks for your answer.

I am trying to run an own application from SD card on ICE v2 board.
With the existing MLO inside the Industrial SDK I can run the examples including industrial communication protocols from the SD card.
But it does not work with the application from my own created project. I've set the same settings and post-build command.
My own application just control the LEDs from the ICE v2 board at the moment. In debug mode it works fine.
Are there some further settings necessary to get the application from an own created project to run it from SD card?
