AM572x UART Receive Count Details

Hi,

Working on a custom board largely based of Beagle X15. Am presently working on a UART port and would like to know the Receive byte count (Number of bytes received). Any reply would be of great help.

Hi,

The UART peripheral in AM57X is compatible to 16C750. Details can be found in section 24.3 of the AM572X Technical Reference Manual Rev. E.

I went through the above mentioned section in the TRM but could not find any specific details on the recieved count value.It will be helpful if i get that information from your side

There is no such register in the UART peripheral.

Sorry, I cannot help you find details for something that simply does no exist in the AM57X device. If you need to count received bytes you should implement this in your software. There are no available examples for this.
