Hello,

I'm looking for a document that defines the possible schematics to build a Coax SPDIF output from SITARA McASP. I just found a sentence in reference documents that it interfaces glueless with S/PDIF transmit physical layer components. Where could I find that ?

Would the schematics from the DIX4192 datasheet, section 10.1.3 Transmitter Output Interfacing apply ? I could not determine if the pins electrical characteristics are similar or not.

Hi,

Check section 22.3.3.2 from the AM335x TRM Rev. N. Basically Figure 78 from the document you refer will apply. Here is an example from a design I did several years ago. A level shifter is used to buffer the processor output. Voltage on the processor side is 1.8V here, you can change it to 3.3V if your AXR pin VDDSHVx voltage is 3.3V.
