AM335x PRU support in Linux kernel

Hello,

I am using linux kernel based on linux-4.6.y' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable and I would like to enable support for PRUs in linux kernel, ... load applications created for PRU from linux user space.

How is it possible to enable support for PRU in linux kernel ?

For official TI support we ask that you please use the TI Processor SDK. You have not specified what processor you're using or else I would also post a link directly to the download location. Here is the general download site:

The latest Processor SDK is version 3.00 which uses kernel 4.4. We have some documentation to help you get started with PRU-ICSS development here:
