Hi.

I am working with am3352 platform. I have it run with sdk6.0 and Qt5.5.

Everything is well but the all qwidget windows have no titlebar. I want these titlebars because I want the window can be moved freely.

How should I do?

To port a xorg for my am3352?

and how?

any body did it?

Hi,

X is not supported by TI. The latest AM335x SDK is based on Wayland. You can find it here: software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html

Hi,
Can I use the latest AM335x SDK to solve this problem. I just want that my qt app run with titlebar,
so that I can move the qwidget freely.
If it can, how?

Yes, you are probably using eglfs which doesn't have titlebar. If you switch to the latest processor SDK, which uses Wayland-EGL, you will have full windowing system.

But I work with am3352 which do not has a SGX Core. Dose it matter? And if not, is there any reference to follow to develop with qt5?

Without the SGX you won't be able to run some qt examples which requires 3D acceleration the rest of the examples and the GUI should work as expected.

I don not need any 3D graph.

I had always thought that window system can not run without a sgx core.

You mean without sgx core, am3352 also can run the window system?

I just need a window system to support moving popup window freely.

Maybe I also need to set a window background transparent.

Can the latest sdk help?

And if you can, could you give me some reference?

Yes.

Adding this line to the mainwindow constructor should do the trick.

    setStyleSheet("background:transparent;");
