Distributed clock and time stamping

Hi

I want to implement DC functionality over AM335x ice board.

Some confusions are there that I want to clear before starting with that :-

1. Multiple slaves are required to implement DC or we can use one slave also ??

2. I want to perform Time Stamping i.e.. for fast IO operations, so for that how will I send the pre-defined time at which I want to trigger slaves ??
