AM335x Qt5 full graphic acceleration

Hi Sir,

Are there any ways to use full graphic acceleration in Qt5 and decrease main CPU usage. In "ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-03.01.00.06-Linux-x86" graphic performance in Qt5 is very poor and main CPU usage is very high.

Hello Oleg,

The latest Processor SDK should use the full graphics acceleration. How you've tested the performance and compared to which SDK it has poor performance?

Hi Kemal

I have created a test Qt application (QMainWindow + View), which uses QtWebEngine (QtWebKit as alternative) for displaying web content. When loading web pages with js, which manipulates web content (color, visibility), CPU usage exceeds 40%. When start using touchscreen during rendering web content, CPU usage hits 80%.

Is this high CPU usage is only seen on Qt 5.6 (ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-03.01.00.06-Linux-x86), or you have seen this behaviour on the earlier SDK versions too?
