What are the Hardware requirement for implementing Profinet with AM335X

IS PRU mandatory for Profinet implementation

can we have Profinet implemented on the RGMII interface of AM335X

Eby,

in case you are targeting a PROFINET class B or C device then a cut-through switch is a must. This can only be done at the current time using PRU implementation and the associated MII interfaces.

TI does not offer a class A (single port) only solution. But I think some third parties do.
