AM3352: DDR3 Ratio Sheet Spreadsheet

Dear Sir,

processors.wiki.ti.com/.../AM335x_DDR_PHY_register_configuration_for_DDR3_using_Software_Leveling

In Ratio Sheet Spreadsheet, we have to enter DDR_CK trace and DDR_DQSx trace values.

In the Ratio sheet spreadsheet for DDR_CK trace value, in description they described to input the average of DDR_CK and DDR_CKn traces.

For DDR_DQSx trace value , they didn't describe anything.

My question is for DDR_DQSx value , we have to input the average of DDR_DQS and DDR_DQSn traces or just the value of DDR_DQS ?

Hi,

In the same sheet we have to enter PHY_INVERT_CLKOUT value.

In description it is given that If (DDR_CK length) < (DDR_DQS length), then use 1. If (DDR_CK length) > (DDR_DQS length), then use 0.

On our board

1. DDR_CK > DDR_DQS0

2. DDR_CK < DDR_DQS1

So what PHY_INVERT_CLKOUT value should i enter ' 0 ' or '1' ?

Which values I have to use , values which i got when running the application with PHY_INVERT_CLKOUT value ' 0 ' or values which i got when PHY_INVERT_CLKOUT ' value is '1' ?

Values for PHY_INVERT_CLKOUT with value '0' are as follows(optimum value)

1. CMDx_PHY_CTRL_SLAVE_RATIO - 80
2. PHY_RD_DQS_SLAVE_RATIO - 0x039
3. PHY_FIFO_WE_SLAVE_RATIO - 0xa0
4. PHY_WR_DQS_SLAVE_RATIO - 0x039
5. PHY_WR_DATA_SLAVE_RATIO - 0x074

Values for PHY_INVERT_CLKOUT with value '1' are as follows(optimum value)

1. CMDx_PHY_CTRL_SLAVE_RATIO - 100
2. PHY_RD_DQS_SLAVE_RATIO - 0x039
3. PHY_FIFO_WE_SLAVE_RATIO - 0x104
4. PHY_WR_DQS_SLAVE_RATIO - 0x084
5. PHY_WR_DATA_SLAVE_RATIO - 0x0C2

I suppose the second se is with PHY_INVERT_CLKOUT value '1', right? Well, in your case both sets seem feasible. Have you tried running the memory test with both of them?
