AM5728: Latest SDK boot fails

Hi TI Experts,

Please let me confirm the following question.

[Question]
Our EVM did not boot up with using the pre-build image on the latest Linux SDK(v3.03).
Note: I crated the SD card by using "create_sdcard.sh" and used the 4GB SD card.
When I used the SD card(Unknown SDK version) which was included the EVM, it can be boot up.

Would you please teach me whether there is any limitation of SD card size or not?
Would you please provide the way to solve this issue?

Would you please teach me whether there is any limitation of SD card size or not?

You need at least 4GB sd card to use the TI SDK.

Are you using the AM572x GP EVM or a Custom board?

Hi,

I just tested the latest SDK on my AM572x GP EVM and it has no problems booting.

Can you post your step-by-step procedure for creating the card? What do you get on the serial console?

Hi Yordan,

Thank you for your confirming.
Just in case, I summarized the method to create the SD card for AM572x EVM.

1. Insert the formatted SD card to PC
2. Run the script of "create_sdcard.sh" as below.
sudo ./create_sdcard.sh
3. Confirm the description of "Operation Finished" on terminal.

For Serial console, there was not any description even though power on EVM.
And after 7secs, the board was powered down automatically.
