RTOS/AM3352: I2C register settings

Hi,

We are looking into the AM335x I2C register settings.
We are referring to the CSl source code of Processor SDK below.

C:\ti\pdk_am335x_1_0_x\packages\ti\csl\example\utils\common\inc\i2c.h

As per the AM335x reference manual, I2C_CON Register's 14 and 12-13 bits are Reserved.

But the CSL's I2C include file has configures both these reserved bits as shown below.
Is this setting necessary or is there something wrong in the source or the manual?

After taking a closer look at this, I will have to ask the relevant team to check if the TRM needs to be updated.
There is another API header file at C:\ti\pdk_am335x_1_0_6\packages\ti\csl\src\ip\i2c\V2\i2c.h which you should also reference. There is a High Speed mode that seems not to be reflected in the TRM, hence the reason it will need to be checked internally.

Thank you for the update.

With regards to the "I2C_CON_BE" (bit 14), the source code is wrong I think, the previous Starterware source don't have such Big endian settings.

With Regards to OPMODE, we believe AM335x supports other modes also.
The previous Starterware(02_00_01_01) source code has below declarations in the header file.
