RTOS/AM3352: USB driver for Windows 10

Hi,

Our customer's application was designed based on Starterware.
Currently they are trying to upgrade it to support Windows 10.

With regards to the USB driver(CDC) the starterware USB driver
uses INF file without driver signature.
Is there any way to upgrade it to support Windows 10 with driver signature?

Please let us know if there is any possible way like upgrading
the drivers to Processor RTOS SDK.

Hi,

The Starterware is in maintainence mode and we encourage customer to migrate Processor SDK RTOS. The RTOS only supports MSC USB example, CDC class in planning. I will update you when that will be available.

Hi Eric,

Thank you so much for the reply.
I shall wait for the CDC Class update.

Meanwhile, this application is already in Mass production
and it will be difficult to change the driver software to SDK RTOS.

If possible could you please let me know if there is any other way
to avoid the Digital Signature and install the USB CDC in 64 bit OS?
Note:We want to know if there is any way without disabling the Digital Signature.

Hi,

Sorry, the answer is no, unless we want to submit our driver to Microsoft WHQL for certification. It’s been a while since we’ve done this, but it wasn’t a trivial task.
