AM3352: RTC design question

Hi Sir

we followed AM335x Smart Home and Energy Gateway Reference Design and found one question

in the design, there is one resistor (FB28, 600ohm) which is placed between GND and VSSA_RTC.

Is it necessary to put this resistor ? follow which design guide ?

When in doubt always follow the device datasheet/errata/TRM. FB28 is not a resistor, but a ferrite bead. See Errata Advisory 1.0.30 for VSSA_RTC connection.

Hi Sir

Do we need to add ferrite bead between VSSA_RTC and GND ???
errata doesn't mention it.

The Errata is quite clear that VSSA_RTC should be connected directly to digital GND.
