Hi, I want to use 5V adaptor and battery for powering my beaglebone black, I want to detect when 5V adaptor is missed and the board is supplying from battery, for this I should read the INT and STATUS register of TPS65217 if an interrupt is issued on PMIC_INT pin. How can I detect interrupt and read this registers!?

Hi Ahmad,

There is TPS65217 driver in the Linux kernel (./Linux/drivers/power/tps65217_charger.c) where you can find tps65217_charger_irq function which can help you for IRQ handling and tps65217_reg_read function for reading TPS registers.
I'm not sure where is your code placed kernel or userspace but I suggest you two helpful links describing interrupt handling:

Hi, thanks for your answer. But I don't know where does the linux kernel is placed!? Unfortunately I didn't know linux programming much!
