TMDXEVM3358: Couldn't load Linux image

Hi there,

I just received 2 units of TMDXEVM and WL1837MODCOM8I. I couldn't boot the system with the given image. I tried it with my colleague's older version (another SD card) and it booted up OK.

Could you please help to verify with the two images? I have attached both in ZIP files with one working, and the other one not. I would like to work with the one compatible with my given hardware, so that I can operate the WiFi module properly.

You can download and try the latest images from here: software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html You will find instructions for creating an SD card on the download page.

Thanks for the feedback, Biser. I done that and I can boot up the system with the basic functionalities visible to me. I can't see wlan0 when I did an ifconfig though.

"ifconfig wlan0 up" returned "ifconfig: SIOCGIFFLAGS: No such device".

I am using the WL1837MODCOM8I evaluation module slotted into the 3358 EVM. Would you be able to provide some guidance on this?

WL1837 is supported on the WiLink forum: e2e.ti.com/.../307 Please ask there.
