AM3356: Media Counters in EIP

Hi,

Let me talk about DLR of EtherNet/IP for AM3356.

Could you tell me How to get "Media Counters" in EIP EthernetLink object Attribute:5 ?

This "Media Counters" is the corresponding frame number (counter) when an error such as the number of
collision occurrence frames or the number of FCS check error frames occurs.

We find API of HAL_GetMediaCounters(), But This API can not get frame number.
How to get this "Media Counters" in Processor SDK and PRU-ICSS-SW?

Thank you for your reply.
It means PRU-ICSS-ETHERNETIP-ADAPTER 01_00_02_00 and Processor SDK 3.3.0.4 for AM335x.

Hi Horoyasu-san, from code inspection, EIPHAL_getMediaCounters() seems correct, and frame number is not part of EIP EthernetLink object Attribute:5. As you pointed it out, errors and collisions counters are reported via this API.

You could get packets send counter information from DLR handle (dlrHandle->pktSendCounter).
