Part Number: TPA3255
Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models
Hello,
I am wanting to use the TPA3255 in a new design at my company that produce high power low frequency output Antennas for the security industry. These antennas then power certain wireless devices that can then talk back to a system. Unfortunately I am not allowed to say more than this...
I want to use this class D amplifier over the traditional Class A/B design, however the Coil impedance isn't that of a standard Speaker.I have been searching for a spice model so I can play around with values to check how to optimize the LC filter part.I did look at the application note but it only mentions standard speakers and not arbitrary loads...The out put is a 200Hz Sinusoidal wave with peak current of 20A and the impedance of the coil are the following:
Inductance (measured at frequency 1000 Hz) 1.5 mH Resistance (DC measurement) 0.5 Ohm
Kind RegardsDaniel
In reply to Andy Liu SH:
Thank you very much I really appreciate it!
In reply to Daniel Zinner:
Hi Daniel,
We do have an LC filter calculator that can help you calculate the values that you will need. However as I mentioned to you in this thread: we currently don't have any spice models for these parts.
Very sorry for the inconvenience.
Best Regards,
Robert Clifton.
