TAS5782M: TAS5782M volume control

Part Number: TAS5782M

I have a simple configuration:

Bluetooth audio (I2S out)  - TAS5782 - speaker.

So, when i play a song from smartphone, i can regulate volume on:

1) smartphone

2) on bluetooth module

3) on TAS - digital control volume

4) on TAS - fine volume controle

For the best quality - where i must control volume?

    Hi Alexey,

    In general, all modules can be divided into two parts: digital part (I2S) and analog part (post part of TAS5782).
    It is suggested to increased analog gain and reduce digital gain to achieve better noise performance.

    But in application case, usually, digital gain is open to customer while analog gain is fixed, which indicated you need to set a maximum analog and keep engough space for digital gain for adjusting.

    As i think - digital part - no matter where, on phone, on TAS , on bluetooth..
