Hi,

I'm using TAS5766MRMTEVM with PPCMB and PurePath Console 3.

Is there a way to use two different stereo signals (analog Inputs 1 and 2 of the PPCMB) and route them separate to

sterero out 1 and 2 of the TAS5766MRMTEVM?

Hi Shawn,
I got quite the same issue here with USB-Output. I was also trying to route the USB audio signal to the four different outputs with no success.
I think that the main problem here is that the motherboard is recognized only as a 2-channel device by the computer.

PS: Could you also find out, what the jumpers AOUT1, 2, 3 and 4 do if i short them?

Hi Marc,

As shawn explained, it is not feasible. Two TAS5766M on the EVM share the same I2S.
Please refer to UG of TAS5766MRMTEVM: www.ti.com/.../slou387.pdf for more details.

At present, I am sorry that existing hareware (EVM + mother board) cannot satisfy you requirements.

Hi Alix,

one last question...

I tought about a simple workaround for routing 4 channels. I simply plan to use two PPCMB's each combined with an TAS5766MRMTEVM.

Is it possible to flash my tuning to the TAS5766MRMTEVM's and keep it flashed despite disconnecting USB and power connection.

If this is not feasible, can I run two PPCMB's on the same computer?

Hi Marc,
Unfortunately PPC doesn't support running two PPCMB on the same computer. I think you need two computers to verify 4 channels application.
