TLV320AIC3104EVM-K: how to set the streaming audio via the USB interface from the PC ?

Part Number: TLV320AIC3104EVM-K

Dear  all

The Slau232.pdf said: "The default configuration will provide power, control signals, and streaming audio via the USB interface from the PC."

I want to know how to set the streaming audio via the USB interface from the PC ?

  • Went,

SLAU232 is for the AIC34.  The Correct users guide for the AIC3104 is here.

Table 1 in this user guide explains the positions of the switches on the USBMOD-EVM SW2.

For use with the TLV320AIC3104EVM, SW-2 positions 1 through 7 should be set to ON, while SW-2.8 should be set to OFF.

With these settings the USBMOD-EVM will show up as an Audio Device in windows, and you can choose it for playback or as an input for recording.

    best regards,

    -STeve Wilson

  • Dear Steve

SLAU232 come from the CD with EVM which I buy from TI store. And I setup the AIC34.exe, is erro program ?

I had followed your steps, then I cann't  play audio input from PC, is there other setting ?

  • Went,

SLAU232 is the wrong program. The AIC3104EVM has not come with a CD since about 2012.

from one of your other threads it sounds like your USBMODEVM doesn't have the firmware installed... I"ve provided instructions to reinstall the firmware.
