Part Number: TLV320AIC3262
We are hearing a constant hissing noise from the speaker when the amplifier is enabled in the AIC3262.
When the amplifier is disabled there is no hissing noise.
Also we hear a clicking sound when the amplifier is enabled or disabled.
Here is the schematic for the speaker:
The hissing sound can be related to different reasons, so it is important to know what is the device configuration and what is the source for the amplifier itself. I assume you are using the same process flow you shared before, can you confirm?.
The click sound may be related to the sequence used to power the amplifier ON or OFF, can you please share the register writes used to power the amplifier On and OFF?.

Sorry for the delay. This is not an expected behavior, the output of the amplifier should be OFF when muted; this suggests that somehow the noise is being generated within the amplifier. I will try to replicate the problem with an EVM. Do you have a scope capture of the hiss noise you are getting?.
Hello Diego Melendez (4117384) - have you managed to reproduce the two issues and do you have any suggested fixes for us?
Issue 1: Constant hiss through the speaker when the amplifier is enabled. The hiss stops when the amplifier is disabled. The hiss is present even when the amplifier is not connected to any audio source.
Issue 2: A loud clicking sound is produced when the amplifier is disabled or enabled.
I will try to get a scope capture of the hiss and clicks. Our circuit is very simple and the diagram has been provided. Also I've sent you our configuration in a private message.
Thanks for your help, I hope this can be resolved soon.
Hello Diego Melendez , do you have any update on these two issues reported some time ago? Issue 1: Constant hiss through the speaker when the amplifier is enabled. The hiss stops when the amplifier is disabled. The hiss is present even when the amplifier is not connected to any audio source. Issue 2: A loud clicking sound is produced when the amplifier is disabled or enabled.
Our circuit design is very simple. A diagram is provided below. A copy of our device configuration has been provided via private messaging.
Sorry for the delayed response I haven't been able to reproduce this issue in the EVM yet, but will perform some tests and will provide my feedback as soon as possible.
