According to my understanding, the biggest difference between these two devices is that TAS5782M uses fixed processing pipelines but TAS5756 is more configurable. Also TAS5782M has much higher THD and max sampling rate is 96KHz while TAS5756 gives .006THD and 192KHz sampling rate. Is this understanding correct?
Do both devices require PPC motherboard in addition to respective evaluation board to connect with PPC2/3 software? In another forum thread I saw someone suggesting that TAS5782M evaluation module does not require PPC motherboard to connect to PPC3 software?
