HI,

My TPA3255EVM will be used in BTL Mode with analog Stereo Balanced Inputs.

My understanding is that J10 & J12 are dedicated to Balanced Inputs (+/-/Gnd)

J4 & J19 jumpers are setted in DIFF position

J7 & J8 jumpers are OUT - J26 & J27 jumpers are setted to respectvely INC & IND

S1 is on RESET position - J21 jumper is On - J16 setted to Master Mode

J29 J32 J33 are by default setted to ON

Is it correct or have I missed something ?

I've planned to only use J10/J12 for Analog Balanced Input with XLR connectors.
Is my previous setup Ok or do I miss something ?

Hi Qin,

Thank you for your help, it's Ok in SE mode, haven't tried Balanced right now.

The EVM Manual ans Quick Startup give too few hints about Balanced inputs wiring.

My question still remains and concerns J10 and J12 wiring...

Hi Philippe,

I'd recommend taking J21 out. The C_START pin is better optimized for BTL when J21 isn't in.

There aren't really any hints I can give you Phillippe. You seem to have figured everything out and should have no problem hooking up the input to the device.

Hi Robert,

Done C21 Out, no smoke or anything else :)

I only use 2 SE Inputs (Stereo mode) actually.
My goal is to go Balanced using J10 & J12 analog inputs (+/Gnd/- respectively INA/GND/INB for J10 and INC/GND/IND for J12).
I know I have to switch J4 & J19 to DIFF position.
Should I have to do something else ?
