Part Number: PCM2906
What is the difference between PCM290xB and PCM290xC?
The primary changes with PCM290xC was updates to pass the Microsoft Windows Logo kit (WLK) v1.5, In addition, the following descriptors are different between the PCM290xB and PCM290xC.
NOTE that the WLK has subsequently changed its name to Windows Hardware Lab Kit (Windows HLK) for Windows 10 release, intended for testing of hardware and drivers on Windows 10 platform. The Windows Hardware Certification Kit continues testing hardware on Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 (and their server products respectively) platforms and PCM290xC should meet all the requirements for WLK 1.5 requirements.
