My customer used PCM1864 and asked about the input XI/XO and SCKI clock frequency deviation and jitter requirements for our device. There is no such data in the datasheet. They plan to review the design and evaluate the signal quality in their system. Thanks.

Provided that the clock deviations and jitter do not violate the 48% - 52% min/max duty-cycle specifications then then the PCM1864 will still function. However, since the clock input drives the decimation filters and other audio processing blocks inside the product using a low-jitter, low-phase-noise clock is ideal.
