Linux/TAS2562: TAS2562 Left/Right mixed output Setting.

Part Number: TAS2562

Tool/software: Linux

Dear TI Team,

In order to set Left / Right mixed output in TAS2562 Linux driver,

we set only the following part in basic driver.

    <ctl name="ASI1 Sel LeftRightDiv2" value="3" />

    <ctl name="Amp Output Level" value="20" />

    <ctl name="TAS2562 IVSENSE ENABLE" value="0" />

Is there a functional problem I want to implement?

Thanks.

  • Hi Chun,

    I'll check about Linux driver, but if <ctl name="ASI1 Sel LeftRightDiv2" value="3" /> controls the Bits 5-4 from Page 0 Register 8, then this is correct.
    Set these bits to 0b11 will configure the device to mix the right and left channel data.
